Our family support and outreach program is our most important program. We could always use your assistance through financial support.
volunteering
The success of Siani Strong Foundation depends on the dedication of its volunteers. We always need people who are willing to share key talents to ameliorate our organization.
mission & vision
To provide financial and emotional assistance to parents /families of a child with blood or bone disorder.
Siani was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (A.L.L) in March 2012. Siani's leukemia cells had an abnormal condition called hypo-diploid, which meant her leukemia was prone to come back after having gone into remission. As such, Siani underwent a Bone Marrow Transplant on November 21, 2012. In December 2012, Siani began to experience the severest form of Graft Vs. Host Disease which attacked her skin, gut, sinuses, intestines and lungs. As a result, her lungs were so sick that she needed a bilateral lung transplant. She stayed at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from December 28, 2012 until her passing on April 2, 2014, with only two days home in June. Siani fought with grace and shared a message of hope with the community. She impacted the lives of many near and far with her strength and charisma. Through the Siani Strong Foundation, we will continue to spread Siani's message to other families in need.
On July 22nd, Tracey McCurry, Siani's mother and the Foundation's Patient Services Coordinator, accepted a $1,000 grant from Wells Fargo at the company's annual community awards breakfast. We would like to thank Wells Fargo and the Hainesport branch for nominating us for this extraordinary honor! The CHOP families will be very appreciative!#SianiStrong
